These tickets make great last minute gifts and stocking stuffers. Be sure to get yours this week at the Theater or walk on up to the door on Saturday night, December 29. There's always room for another family of Hank Sr's fans.
This year's show will be hosted by WSIG's on-air, morning-guy, personality Uncle Johnny who will announce some giveaways to his listeners. Tune in to 89.6FM from 6-9 each weekday morning for your dose of Country music and a chance to win.
Our very special audience guest this year will be Buddy Allen Ricker of Stephens City. Buddy Allen toured the East coast and Western states from the 50s to the 70s with his Country musicians and connected with Hank Sr. at a radio station in 1952. Hank Sr. liked one of Buddy's originals well enough to schedule it for a recording session in February 1953 but passed on before that session happened.
We've been fortunate to include 'You Can't Keep Me From Lovin' You' in the show with Buddy's permission, and record it on our 'Tribute To The Master' CD.
Come learn about Country Music's first super-star and enjoy 20 of Hank Sr's most popular works performed live with the original instrumentation and arrangements.
Saturday, December 29, - Curtain Time is 7PM. Lavish Buffet dinner and preferred VIP seating is also available at the Strasburg Theater.

Saturday's production of "Lovesick Blues", a Hank Williams tribute starring Robbie Limon, really put the topper on a great weekend of shows at the Strasburg. Kudos to the entire band and crew, Robbie, Doug, Clay, Dave, Ken, Bob, Kevin, Dee, and Ralph.
Special thanks goes out to Robbie Sullivan for doing such a great job at the sound board. I spoke with several of the players, as well as the listeners, and they all agreed that the sound was well mixed, clearly heard, and just fantastic all the way around.
Hopefully, we'll see more shows like this in the future.
~Joe

As many fans already know, Robbie Limon is an outstanding performer and talented singer. Robbie always brings a freshness to each show, as though he were performing for the first time. Recently Robbie filled the theater with enthusiastic applaud in his portrayal of the late, great Hank Williams in LOVESICK BLUES. He always has the ability to "become" the person he portrays, from Hank Williams to Buddy Holly. A joy to watch and a fun time for all. He always leaves you wanting more!!!
Hope to see him back soon.
